周跃潮想要揭示的是被遮蔽在社会繁荣的时代的人性状况，同时这也揭示出一种人性内在的悲剧意义，即他们成为社会权力拥有者，但也是一群不幸者。在这一点上，周跃潮揭示了中国走向复兴和个人拯救的进程已经成为一种不可逆转的悲剧道路，没有人能在这场史无前例的历史救赎中保存完整而纯真的人性，他们或者纯真地处于底层，或者因上升而走向这个时代复杂的人性迷失，这一历史见证尽管看似触目惊心，但最终不可避免地成为他们的生命印迹，即他们的脸有两面性。

简历

周跃潮， 1981年毕业于中国广西艺术学院。毕业后一直致力于绘画创作与学术研究。1984年在广西艺术学院美术系任教，1986年移居香港。周跃潮在1990年和1995年分别在巴黎、伦敦、里昂学习。1984年在香港艺术中心举行首个个人画展，1988年获得香港宝丽金现代艺术比赛优异奖及获得PHILLPE CHARRIOL FOUNDATION 现代艺术比赛银奖。1993年参加香港PHILLPE CHARRIOL FOUNDATION 现代艺术比赛获金奖。周跃潮的抽象表现主义绘画形式，多年来演变成混合装置手法。近年来他在油画创作的同时，尝试创作了一系列的行为艺术作品。现居北京，活跃于各大美术展览及艺术活动，曾在中央美术学院讲学。

Zhu Qi is a famous contemporary art critic in China

What Zhou Yuechao wants to reveal is the human condition concealed in the era of social prosperity, which also reveals a kind of inherent tragic significance of human nature, that is, they become the possessor of social power, but also a group of unfortunate people. At this point, Zhou Yuechao reveals the process of Chinese Renaissance and personal saving has become an irreversible path of tragedy, no one can in this unprecedented in the history of redemption intact and pure human nature, or simply to bottom, or lost due to rise to the complicated human nature of the era, the history although seemingly shocking, But in the end, inevitably, it became their signature that their faces had two sides.

Jane's calendar

Zhou Yuechao graduated from Guangxi University of Arts in 1981. After graduation, he has been devoted to painting creation and academic research. In 1984, he taught in the Fine Arts Department of Guangxi University of Arts and moved to Hong Kong in 1986. Zhou yuechao studied in Paris in 1990, London in 1995 and Lyon in 1995. In 1984, he held his first solo exhibition at the Hong Kong Arts Centre. In 1988, he won the Prize of Merit in the Polygram Modern Art Competition in Hong Kong and the Silver Prize in the PHILLPE CHARRIOL FOUNDATION Modern Art Competition. In 1993, he participated in the Hong Kong PHILLPE CHARRIOL FOUNDATION Modern Art Competition and won the gold medal. Zhou yuechao's abstract expressionist painting style has evolved into a hybrid installation technique over the years. In recent years, he tried to create a series of performance art works while creating oil paintings. Currently living in Beijing, he is active in various art exhibitions and art activities. He once lectured at the Central Academy of Fine Arts.
