高占非本名高执欧，从小就喜爱戏剧、电影，尤其擅长皮簧。一生出演了近百部影片，代表作《南国之春》。

Gao Zhanfei, born Gao Zhuou, loved drama and film since childhood, especially good at leather spring. In his life, he starred in nearly 100 films, notably "Southern Spring".

他曾被家人逼迫进入了保定军官学校，当过吴佩孚部下的秘书，但他并不喜欢，弃军从艺，到上海做了演员。

1932年，蔡楚生编导的《南国之春》一炮打响，男主角高占非和女主角陈燕燕红透半边天。

He was forced by his family to enter the Baoding military academy, as a secretary under Wu Peifu, but he did not like it, abandoned the army to become an artist, to Shanghai as an actor.

In 1932, The Spring in the South, written and directed by CAI Chusheng, was an instant hit. The leading actor Gao Zhanfei and the leading actress Chen Yanyan became famous.

接下来，高占非又和黎莉莉合演了《天明》，和王人美合演了《都会的早晨》，和阮玲玉合演了《香雪海》，两年内产出了十多部电影。

抗战爆发后，高占非主演了抗日影片《热血忠魂》、《长空万里》等片。1942年，回到沦陷了的上海，拍摄了《芳华虚度》、《万世流芳》等片，连续两年被评选为最佳男演员。

Gao then co-starred in Dawn with Li Lili, Morning of the Metropolis with Wang Renmei and Xiangxue Hai with Ruan Lingyu, producing more than a dozen films in two years.

After the outbreak of the War of Resistance against Japan, Gao Zhanfei starred in anti-japanese films such as "Blood and Soul" and "Thousands of Miles in the Sky". In 1942, he returned to the occupied Shanghai and shot such films as "Youth and Vain" and "Everlasting Fame". He was selected as the best actor for two consecutive years.

1928年，高占非和高倩苹共同参演杨耐梅公司的影片《奇女子》，两人迅速坠入爱河并闪婚。

高占非和高倩苹是同事，又都是明星，朋友戏称他们为“老高”和“小高”。

除了演戏，高倩苹还喜欢读书，经常为杂志写文章。1936年，正当红的高倩苹退出电影圈，上海政法学院攻读法律，毕业后当了女律师。

抗战时，高倩苹留在上海，高占非去后方拍摄抗日电影，和女主角白杨传出了绯闻。

1942年，高占非回到上海，与高倩苹协议离婚。离婚之后，两人依然同住在新乐路的房子。

In 1942, Gao Zhanfei returned to Shanghai and agreed to divorce Gao Qianping. After the divorce, they still lived together in the house on Xinle Road.

1948年，高占非南下香港，和顾而已等共同创办了大光明影片公司，主演了《野火春风》和《水上人家》。

1951年，“大光明”迁往上海，拍摄了《方珍珠》与《和平鸽》之后，并入了“联影”。高占非娶了王荀慧，组建了新家庭。

1969年12月26日，高占非去世。

In 1948, Gao Zhanfei went south to Hong Kong and co-founded the Big Bright Film Company with Gu And starred in Spring Breeze of Wildfire and Family on the Water.

In 1951, Big Bright moved to Shanghai, shot Square Pearl and Dove of Peace, and then merged into United Film. Gao Zhanfei married Wang Xunhui and started a new family.

Gao Zhanfei died on December 26, 1969.
