吴莺音(1922年-2009年12月17日),原名吴剑秋,是曾有“鼻音歌后”之称的上海老歌星。
上世纪40年代,与周璇、姚莉、白光、李香兰、白虹等齐名的吴莺音,是上海滩家喻户晓的红歌星。如今,还有不少上了年纪的人能够哼上几首她的名曲。由她原唱的《大地回春》在海外广为流传,在北美华人地区,还被作为春节的喜庆歌曲演唱。此外,她唱红的《我有一段情》《江南之夜》《岷江夜曲》等,常被港台歌手翻唱。2009年12月17日,吴莺音因肺积水医治无效在洛杉矶去世,享年87岁。
Wu Yingyin (1922 -- December 17, 2009), formerly known as Wu Jianqiu, was an old Singer in Shanghai who was once known as the "queen of nasal songs".
In the 1940s, Wu Yingyin, as well as Zhou Xuan, Yao Li, White Light, Li Xianglan, Bai Hong and other famous singers, was a household name in Shanghai Tang. Nowadays, there are still quite a few elderly people who can hum some of her famous songs. Her original song "The Earth Returns to Spring" is widely spread overseas, and is also sung as a festive song during the Spring Festival in The Chinese areas of North America. In addition, her popular songs such as "I have a Love affair", "Jiangnan Night" and "Minjiang Nocturne" are often covered by singers from Hong Kong and Taiwan. On December 17, 2009, Wu Yingyin died in Los Angeles at the age of 87 after failing treatment for fluid in her lungs.
