刘德瑞，安徽萧县人，1949年生，1968年入伍，服役于军委工程兵和武警部队，上校军衔。1995年转业到北京地方工作，2004年退休，享受副厅级待遇。他自幼喜爱武术，后醉心于中国历史和儒、释、道。初,不临摹写生，却在多年自学武术过程中屡发作画灵感，且一发而不可收。20多年间，从不刻意构思设计，仅凭感觉、听觉，随心生相，心随笔墨，挥笔而就其独有之感悟，是喷吐式地讲述心中的象，象就是无穷尽的生命符号或意象、形象组成的长卷，长卷还在喷吐之中。近万张画各为孤品，其内涵却连成龙凤暨宇宙间之生命具象重叠交错、奇异玄幻之长卷。因其画超越了中国画“画什么、怎么画”的常规命题，其力作己被国内外专藏“创始画派画作”的前沿藏家垄断式收藏，在多家报刊、网络持续发表。

我的作品灵感来源于对大自然的感知和对人生的感悟。我长期研究中国传统文化，其中有老庄的道法自然、天人合一思想和龙凤呈祥等中国民族发祥文化对我影响很深。

我的绘画思路是师法自然，与大自然对话，相传龙、凤同为中华民族两大图腾系统，华夏民族是龙的传人，也是凤的传人。龙凤是中华民族文化的象征，崇龙崇凤是一种浓厚的民族情结。龙凤当作我们民族发祥和文化肇端的象征，可说是再恰当不过了。龙、凤在历史上、现实生活中，又是人与神之间的一座桥梁，即人类借助于龙、凤，沟通和大自然的联系。

因此，我的作品张张有龙、幅幅有凤，构成追求美好幸福、祈愿吉祥平安的画面。

在技法上，我用的是天人合一、心生灵犀、随心所欲的手法。依法无定法，无法为法，画我心中之象。我画画不起稿，不构思，在逍遥自在中对话大自然，诉说对大自然的所感、所悟，描绘大自然中的生态万象。

在画面的处理上，尽可能把握阴阳平衡、和谐得当，让人感到赏心悦目，喜庆吉祥。为增强欣赏性，我用的是画面无论正反横竖、距离角度的变化中都能看到不一样的图案和内涵，以意象形不像，似与不似之间给观者留有充分的想象空间。个人精力所限，我没有重复古人、今人，更不重复自己，因此我的每张作品均为孤品。

我作品的文脉是传统的，用料是传统的，我作品表现的是传统的文化现象。只是在传统的基础上，我摸索出的绘画语言符号，形成了我个人的绘画风格，也是我的心灵对远古空间的追忆和呼唤，对时代的祝福！

Liu is a native of xiaoxian county, anhui province. He was born in 1949 and enlisted in the army in 1968. He served in the military commission and armed police force. In 1995, he transferred to Beijing and retired in 2004. He loved martial arts from his childhood, and then he was infatuated with Chinese history and Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism. Early, do not copy sketching, but in years of self-taught martial arts in the process of repeatedly painting inspiration, and one and not to collect. 20 years, never deliberately conception design, just by feeling, hearing, as quoted, heart with pen and ink, by its unique feeling, is spewing type to the story of the heart like, like is endless symbol or image, image of long life, long is in the smoke. Nearly ten thousand paintings are all solitary, but the connotation of the painting is a long scroll of the life of the phoenix and the universe. Because of its painting beyond the traditional Chinese painting "paint what and how" conventional proposition, its force has been designed to hide at home and abroad to the forefront of the creative painting paintings collectors LongDuanShi, published in several newspapers, network continued.

My work is inspired by the perception of nature and the perception of life. I study the traditional culture which has long Chinese, Lao Zhuang's imitation of nature, harmony thought and Phoenix influence China national original culture to me is very deep.

My idea is to imitate the nature of painting, dialogue with nature, according to legend, dragon and Phoenix as part of the Chinese nation two totem system, Chinese people are descendants of the dragon, the Phoenix is the successor. Dragon and Phoenix are symbols of the Chinese nation's culture, and the worship of dragons and phoenix is a strong national complex. As a symbol of our national culture and the birthplace of beginning of the dragon, it is more appropriate. In the history and real life, the dragon and Phoenix are also a bridge between man and God, that is, human beings communicate with nature through the help of dragons and phoenix.

Therefore, my works, Zhang, Zhang Youlong, and amplitude have Phoenix, constitute a pursuit of good happiness, pray for good luck and peace picture.

In technique, I use the harmony between man and nature, heart consonance, arbitrary manipulation. According to the law, there is no law, I can not draw the image of my mind. My drawing is not hot, not the idea, in the dialogue in nature to tell the leisurely and carefree nature, feeling, understanding, depict the ecological nature of vientiane.

In the picture processing, as much as possible to grasp the balance of yin and Yang, harmony and proper, so that people feel pleasing to the eye, happy and auspicious. In order to enhance the appreciation, I use the change of picture, regardless of the positive and negative angle in horizontal distance can not see the same pattern and connotation, unlike in image form, between like and do not like to give the audience left full of imagination. The limitation of individual efforts, I did not repeat the ancients, today, do not repeat themselves, so each of my work are solitary.

The context of my works is traditional and the materials are traditional. My works show the traditional cultural phenomenon. Only on the traditional basis, I explored the painting language symbols, formed my personal painting style, but also my mind on the ancient space recall and call, the blessings of the times!
