2018年9月4日下午,在江苏省常熟市东方红木家俱艺术馆出席“千秋文脉传盛世”改革开放40周年中国苏作红木文化展新闻发布会的媒体,对陈列于东方红木家具艺术馆的各种紫砂壶产生了浓厚的兴趣。壶的主人国家一级工艺美术大师吴海龙趁此机会,向新华社、第一财经等媒体朋友普及紫砂壶知识。


“‘泥’的优劣决定着紫砂壶的品味高低,好壶必是好泥成就,唯有好泥才会制作出双透气孔结构,吸水率高,透气性强,并且‘色不艳、质不腻’的好壶。”见大家对祥云壶、四方壶、彩蝶壶等多款吴氏独创的精品壶爱不释手,吴海龙首先教大家辨别好壶所用的泥料,其次才是看造型。他说,制作紫砂壶的过程中,泥料是最主要的因素,是决定一把紫砂壶品味的重要标尺。吴氏陶艺百年传承,今天的作品用的都是沉腐十年以上的老泥。吴海龙介绍,制作紫砂壶的泥料,种类有很多种,主要分为三大类:紫泥、红泥、绿泥,这三大类中又分为很多小类。紫泥常见的分为紫泥、清水泥、底槽清、红棕泥、红皮龙等。红泥在早期是最常用之泥料,因矿脉里铁质成份较高、所生产的茶壶会产生火疵、小熔点,日久使用,渐露锋,深获早期壶识者深爱、赞赏。绿泥又分为段泥(原矿段泥,芝麻段,黄金段)、绿泥(墨绿泥,本山绿),泥料内所含颗粒较大结构疏松器身明显成双气孔结构,空气对流顺畅。泥料不同价格差距很大。其次才是看造型。


紫砂壶如按造型分类,可分为几何形体造型、自然形体造型、筋纹器造型及水平壶和茶器造型四类。几何开体紫砂壶造型,俗称“光货”。光货造型讲究器皿的立面线条和平面形态的变化,以及形体各部位之间的比例关系,或辅以一些简洁的线条装饰。其造型又可分为圆器和方器两种。圆器造型要求达 到“圆、稳、匀、正”,要“柔中寓刚”。紫砂传统造型四方桥顶壶、传炉壶、僧帽壶、雪华壶等,就是紫砂方器茶壶的典型造型。


“你们看,这把用红泥制成的四方传炉壶,就是一件典型的光货。” 外形精致、轮廓讲究,自然淳朴、简洁高雅,几个月前,刻有国画大师所画骏马的一把四方传炉壶被一神秘买家以25万元人民币收走,从侧面肯定了吴海龙的制壶水平,让吴海龙十分自豪。


三年前,吴海龙先生随常熟工商考察团去台湾,他特意为国民党名誉主席吴伯雄先生定制了一把寿桃壶,深得吴先生的喜爱。这件寿桃紫砂壶就是吴海龙紫砂壶 “花货”得意造型之一。花货取材自植物、动物的自然形态,最能代表制壶艺人的匠心独运,以造化为师。吴海龙的寿桃壶、南瓜壶等,造型抽象中透出生动,雕镂捏塑、手法丰富,令观者惊叹不已。


说话间吴海龙拿起一把紫泥“石瓢壶”,此壶的边款“玉森壶”三字乃彭丽媛所书。石瓢壶是紫砂壶的传统经典造型。溯源历史,有相关资料和实物佐证的石瓢壶,当在清代乾、嘉年间。历代名家制作较多,但毎人风格各异。吴海龙的石瓢壶采用宜兴吴家藏原矿老紫砂泥手工精制而成,做工端庄周正,收展有度富于灵动,工艺精湛,曲线柔和流畅,造型简朴古雅,形象生动,充分把形、神、气、态发挥到淋漓尽致,是集实用性、艺术性、收藏性于一体的精品佳作。同款作品已被名家收藏。


人们常说,紫砂壶是“方非一式,圆不一相”。高、低、肥、瘦、刚、柔、方、圆的各种姿态变化多端。即便都是圆器,在紫砂壶上也是呈现出各不相同的形态。但总的审美标准要求圆器达到“圆、稳、匀、正”。圆,各种曲线、抛物线、微曲线都要圆润饱满,圆中寓节奏,圆中富变化,每处皆圆,在肩、腹、足等过渡处,要见骨见肉,骨肉均匀,整体达到“珠圆玉润”的艺术效果;稳,要大方有度,在流动的节奏中又不失稳定之感,具有古朴而又沉稳的韵律;匀,要求壶体与盖、肩、腹、底、嘴、纽、把、足以及各部过渡处匀称自然,浑然一体;正,指制作严谨、规范、圆正。这样制作出来的圆器圆中有变化,壶体本身以及附件的大小、曲直匀称,比例恰当,整个造型端正挺括,才富有美感。


一件好的紫砂壶,远远不是几个简单的步骤就能做出来的,这需要匠人的功力,还有细细打磨的耐心、用心。记者们注意到吴海龙粗糙的手掌,那是常年与泥土打交道留下的印记。8岁时,吴海龙就用课余时间捣鼓起了紫砂,做出来的紫砂花盆成为集市上的“抢手货”。15岁初中毕业那年,他便跟随父亲学艺,反复练习打泥条,直到泥条的厚薄、平整度完全一致。枯燥、繁重的工作使他懂得紫砂工艺必须追求一丝不苟,更明白臻品宝壶锻造之不易。他表示,所有打上吴海龙商标和吴氏金鼎标记的壶,从泥料开始到烧制成型,他都会全程跟踪,看好把握好每一个环节,保证所有的货出来都是精品。在整个流程中,如若发现有不合格的壶,会直接把它销毁,以防流入市场中。


作为国家工艺美术大师,吴海龙的作品多次荣获海内外国际性及国家级金奖,被人民大会堂、中南海艺术馆、国家博物馆、中国农业博物馆等艺术殿堂收藏。并作为国礼,赠送给了泰国亲王、英国王子等世界名流。在2017年哈萨克斯坦世博会上,其作品更是广受世界各地艺术大家们的赞赏。


“紫砂壶的历史时间并不长,明末开始至今不过一二百年。况且紫砂得天独厚,外国没紫砂矿这料,所以没法赶超中国。紫砂是中国的真正国粹!我接下来要深入的细致的研究紫砂的历史,紫砂学,做好功课,不能只知道自家的世袭 ,更不能满足于现状的表面研究及传说。”说到中国的国粹紫砂,吴海龙认为,要做个有担当“儒匠”, 这才真正是光宗耀祖发扬光大吴氏家族。
