His oil painting language is simple, does not pursue the gorgeous color, does not deliberately depict the surface of people and objects, but pays attention to the observation of life, feel the inner truth of human nature and physical nature, and then expresses the form and spiritual beauty from the inside out with simple style, greatly expanding his unique vision of painting and broad aesthetic thinking. He mostly uses gray or black and white tones to construct the picture, and uses the reality of ordinary people's life to create artistic images, such as the hardworking and kind mother (Mother), the thoughtful girl by the river (Etc.), the woman who sings and beats the drum in the cornfield (The Visual Harvest Festival), and the Tibetan who builds temples and takes a rest on the ground (Tibetan).
